1.Place the Hasata Mardin Red Lentils and Osmancik Rice in a strainer and rinse them thoroughly under running water. Drain well.
3.In a pot, add the rinsed lentils, rice, and 4 cups of water, then bring to a boil.
4.Reduce the heat and simmer until the ingredients are softened. Stir in the diluted tomato paste, lemon juice, salt, and crushed garlic.
5.Adjust the consistency by adding more hot water if needed. Simmer for another 5-6 minutes and then remove from the heat. For the spiced oil, heat butter and olive oil in a skillet.
6.Add the dried mint and red pepper flakes, simmer briefly, and then remove from the heat.
7.Pour the spiced oil over the prepared soup and stir gently.
