RESTAURANT STYLE LENTIL SOUP

MATERIALS

  • 1.5 glass of Hasata Mardin Red Lentils
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 6-7 glasses of water or broth
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 spoonful butter
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

HOW TO MAKE RESTAURANT STYLE LENTIL SOUP

    • 1. Wash the lentils thoroughly by rubbing them in cold water.
    • 2. Add butter and olive oil to the pot.
    • 3. Roast the flour until it starts to smell.
    • 4. Add the quartered onion and roast it.
    • 5. Add the washed and drained Hasata Mardin Red Lentils to the pot and roast well.
    • 6. Finally, add broth to the ingredients, cover the lid and let it cook over low heat until the lentils soften.
    • 7. Pass your soup through a blender to get a smooth consistency.
    • 8. Ready to serve by preparing a red pepper sauce fried in butter.
