MATERIALS

  • 2 glass of Hasata Mardin Red Lentils
  • 1 glass of Hasata Horasan Kadim® Coarse Bulgur
  • 1 tablespoon of chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 onion
  • teaspoon of olive oil
  • cumin
  • kimyon
  • enough salt and water

HOW TO MAKE MALHITA FOOD

    • 1.Hasata Mardin Red Lentils are washed thoroughly 3-4 times in a pot.
    • 2.Water is added to cover the lentils.
    • 3.Red pepper is added to prevent the lentils from overflowing, 1-2 tablespoons of oil is added to cook them thoroughly and the lentils are left to cook.
    • 4.After the lentils are thoroughly cooked, bulgur is added to it, and water is added little by little and cooked until the bulgur opens.
    • 5.Sauce is added to it.
    • 6.In a pan, fry the finely chopped onions with oil until they turn yellow.
    • 7.When the onions have cooled down a bit, red pepper is added.
    • 8.Half of this prepared sauce is put in the pot, some sauce is also reserved to be put on the dishes.
    • 9.Sauce is added to the dish taken from the stove and served.
    • Afiyet olsun.

Tricks

    • Preparing the Malhıta Food about 1 hour before consume, will allow it to thicken excessively.
