GREEN LENTILS BURGER

MATERIALS

  • 2 cups of Hasata Yozgat Sultani Green Lentils
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 1-1.5 (one and a half) cups of breadcrumbs
  • 1.5 (one and a half) teaspoons of cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • Quarter bunch of parsley

PREPARATION

    • 1.Take the Hasata Yozgat Sultani Green Lentils into the pot.
    • 2.Add enough water to cover and boil for 20 minutes.
    • 3.Take the boiled lentils in a strainer, drain the water and cool it thoroughly.
    • 4.Take the cooled lentils in a deep bowl.
    • 5.Add the grated and drained onion, crushed garlic, finely chopped parsley, egg, salt and spices.
    • 6.Add breadcrumbs little by little according to its consistency and knead.
    • 7.If it takes the shape of a patty, do not add more breadcrumbs to avoid hardness.
    • 8.From the patty mix you prepared, take pieces the size of your burger bun and shape them into burger patties.
    • 9.Fry your burger patties in heated oil and put them on a plate.
    • 10.Prepare your hamburger buns by placing lettuce, burger patties and slices of tomato in order.
    • 11.Serve with French fries.
    • 12.Enjoy your meal!
