GREEN LENTIL SALAD WITH POMEGRANATE

MATERIALS

  • 1.5 (one and a half) glasses of Hasata Yozgat Sultani Green Lentils
  • 1 pomegranate
  • 3-4 spring onions
  • 1 red pepper
  • 4-5 pickled gherkins
  • Quarter bunch of finely chopped parsley

For The Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of pomegranate molasses
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper

PREPARATION

  • 1.Take the Hasata Yozgat Sultani Green Lentils into the pot.
  • 2.Add enough water to cover it and boil it for 15 minutes (to take by tooth).
  • 3.Take the boiled lentils into a strainer, drain the water and cool it thoroughly.
  • 4.Take the cooled lentils in a deep bowl.
  • 5.Add pomegranate seeds, finely chopped spring onions, parsley, small chopped peppers and pickles.
  • 6.Put all the ingredients for the sauce in a jar and close the lid.
  • 7.Shake well and let it thicken.
  • 8.Pour the sauce you prepared on the salad, mix it and serve it without waiting.
  • 9.Enjoy your meal!
