CARROT RICE SOUP

MATERIALS

  • 1 tea glass of Hasata Osmancık Rice
  • 1 medium size carrot
  • 5-6 cups chicken broth or water
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1.5 (one and a half) tablespoons of flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

For Dressing

  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of dried mint

PREPARATION

  • 1.Add 5 cups of chicken broth or water to the pot and boil.
  • 2.Add Hasata Osmancık Rice and the carrot you cut into cubes
  • 3.After it starts to boil, cook on low heat until the carrots and rice are soft.
  • 4.Take the yogurt, flour and egg yolk into a separate bowl and whisk until smooth.
  • 5.Take 2 ladles of the boiling water of the soup, add it to the seasoning and mix.
  • 6.Add the seasoning you prepared to the boiling soup and stir until it boils. Add salt.
  • 7.If it is too thick, add hot water for the desired consistency.
  • 8.Add the butter to the sauce pan and melt it.
  • 9.Add the mint to the melted butter, boil and remove from the oven.
  • 10.Add it to the boiling soup, mix and remove from the oven. Serve hot.
