BULGUR PILAF WITH VEGETABLES

MATERIALS

  • 2 cups of Hasata Khorasan Coarse Bulgur
  • 2 spoonful of butter
  • 1 medium leek
  • 1 medium zucchini
  • 1 medium size carrot
  • 3.5 (three and a half) glasses of water or chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

PREPARATION

    • 1.Add the butter to the pot and melt it. Add the finely chopped leek and fry until it changes color.
    • 2.Add the diced carrot and Hasata Khorasan Coarse Bulgur and stir.
    • 3.After stirring for 2-3 minutes, add chicken broth, finely chopped zucchini and salt and stir.
    • 4.Close the lid and cook on low heat until the bulgur softens (20-25 minutes).
    • 5.Turn off the oven. Leave your pilaf to rest for 20 minutes and then serve it.
    • 6.Note: If you wish, you can prepare and serve a fun presentation with chicken nuggets.
