1 cup Hasata Manisa Peeled Wheat
½ cup Hasata Yozgat Sultani Green Lentils
1 onion
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dried mint
Hot water as needed
Place 1 cup of Hasata Manisa Peeled Wheat in a bowl, cover with water, and let it soak overnight.
In a pot, melt the butter. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until softened and lightly golden.
Add the dried mint and stir. Pour in 4 cups of hot water. Add the lentils and soaked wheat.
Once it comes to a boil, cover the pot and cook on low heat for 20–25 minutes.
Before removing from the heat, stir in the salt. Serve the soup hot.
You can adjust the amount of water according to your preference.
For a quicker preparation, you may also cook the soup in a pressure cooker.
